Make your presentation fresh, fun and interesting. 3. As you are spending time with the person, do not answer your cell phone. Sure, it might be a potential customer calling, but unless you make the lead feel like she or he is the most important person in your universe right then and there, the feeling of trust will not be there when the time comes for them to become involved in your business. 4. Do not flaunt your wealth. While you want to dress nicely, this is not the time to point to your Cartier watch or Armani suit. Instead, it is the time to discreetly show what the business can do for a dedicated person without actually calling any overt attention to it. 5. The reverse of #4 is, do not come across as though you are unsuccessful. Cut off jeans, sneakers with holes, unwashed hair, and a free ball point pen from a hotel are not confidence inspiring to a person who is thinking of signing on to your network marketing business. What happened? Generally speaking, the odds are good that your forum posts were considered spam by enough of the other players who then reported it to an administrator. The administrator then took action and banned you from the network. Next, you need to create a profile. Not many people want to read through a lengthy promotional profile. Last but not least, if the forum permits, create a signature. This could include a link to your website, but it will be more effective if it includes a link to a personal blog or even an online newsletter with a gripping teaser. Something like “how a candy bar at three in the morning cost me two hours of sleep and $10” is an example of a headline that will lead to click through traffic simply because it seems too implausible and everyone wants to know more about the story. Do not disappoint the website visitor but, instead, deliver a gripping tale or blog entry so when you change your signature to feature the next article, those who know you will come back. 3. Last but not least, do not post lengthy wellness product reviews in a gardening forum. Similarly, do not post an explanation on how to lose weight in a forum dedicated to childhood diseases or autism. Two cardinal sins are incorporated in this approach: a lengthy posting and an inappropriate venue. Only post in forums that are somehow related to your business. Secondly, keep the posts short and simple, especially when you discuss your product. Some very large and successful companies were built on, and continue to thrive, based on a MLM network model. The basic business model works like this: A company sells products or services through a vast network of independent distributors that sell at retail prices. The distributor usually pays some sort of joining fee or has to buy a certain quantity of the product to gain distributorship status. All MLM network marketing companies work from a solid business foundation. A parent company has a product or service to offer its customers. The networker’s responsibility is two-fold; to find other customers to buy the product and recruiting new distributors. Additionally, the network urges distributors to bring in other people to act in the same capacity. The referring distributor then earns commissions on the products that the referred distributor sells.
